1.4. You must be at least 16 years old to use the DietIQ App. If under 18, use is permitted only with parental or legal guardian consent.

2.2. You must create an account to access full features. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

2.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Using the DietIQ App

4.1. The DietIQ App provides:

Calorie and macronutrient tracking
AI-powered diet analysis
Pantry tracking
Grocery delivery integration via Instacart

4.2. Limitations: The app is a dietary guidance tool, not a replacement for professional healthcare advice.

4.3. User Responsibility: Users are responsible for any dietary decisions based on app recommendations.

5. Account Registration & Security

5.1. A valid email and secure password are required for account creation.

5.2. If signing up via third-party services (e.g., Google, Apple), you authorize DietIQ to access necessary account data as per those services' terms.

5.3. You are responsible for account security. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact info@dietiq.io immediately.

6. User Conduct & Restrictions

6.1. Users agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information
Use the app for unlawful activities
Reverse-engineer or exploit the software
Upload harmful or unauthorized content

6.2. Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.

7. Subscription & Payments

7.1. Certain features of DietIQ require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable payment terms.

7.2. Pricing Plans:

Monthly Plan: $9.99/month (includes a 2-week free trial)
Annual Plan: $69.99/year (includes a 2-week free trial)

7.3. Subscription includes access to:

Personalized meal plan generation
Macro tracking
Pantry tracking
Grocery delivery through Instacart

7.4. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Your payment method will be charged for renewal at the current price.

7.5. You may manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

7.6. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Termination & Suspension

8.1. You may delete your account at any time via app settings.

8.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if these Terms are violated.

8.3. Upon termination, access to the app and premium features will be revoked. Data handling will follow our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. The DietIQ App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.

9.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DietIQ disclaims liability for any damages resulting from app usage.

10. Third-Party Services

10.1. The app may include links to or integration with third-party services like Instacart. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10.2. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

11.1. We may revise these Terms occasionally. Updates will be communicated via the app or email.

11.2. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
